Hi, I’m jessica cooper.

I’m an attachment-focused, trauma-informed, therapist who helps adults and couples heal at the root. If you’ve spent years holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or “not enough” on the inside, you’re not alone. Your system has been in survival mode for a long time. And you don’t have to keep doing this on your own.

I know what it’s like to grow up with trauma, insecure attachment, self-abandonment, and the chronic feeling of not being “enough.”

I also know what it’s like to do the deep work—to build secure self-attachment, to trust myself again, to regulate my nervous system, and to reclaim the parts of me I once exiled.

My healing informs my compassion.

My training informs my clarity.

Both shape how I show up for you.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are navigating childhood trauma, relationship patterns, insecure attachment, burnout, major life transitions, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or repeating cycles they can’t “logic” themselves out of. I work with couples at all stages — from chronic conflict to deep disconnection to healing after betrayal — using EFT and trauma-informed approaches.

My approach

My work blends attachment-based theory, somatic therapy, polyvagal awareness, IFS/parts work, EMDR-informed techniques, EFT/Gottman, and the deeply human truth-telling that comes from doing my own healing. I’m direct, real, grounded, and intuitive. I don’t sit silently and nod. I’m here with you — fully — as we explore what you’ve been carrying and what becomes possible when you finally have space to set it down.

Therapy with me isn’t just emotional insight. It’s nervous-system healing, attachment repair, and self-worth reclamation. You’ll learn to understand your patterns, listen to your body, honor your boundaries, and build secure self-attachment so you can show up in your life and relationships with clarity, connection, and trust.

If you're ready for a different kind of therapy — one that meets you at the depth you've been craving — I’d be honored to work with you..

My clinical approach

This is trauma therapy that goes beyond coping.

This is attachment work that helps you finally feel safe with yourself.

This is somatic work that brings your body back into the conversation.

This is where your expansion begins..

I blend evidence-based modalities with intuitive, relational depth work:

  • Somatic therapy & polyvagal work

  • Adult attachment therapy

  • Developmental trauma healing

  • IFS/parts work (not certified)

  • EMDR-informed resourcing and processing

  • EFT & Gottman-informed couples therapy

  • Mind–body integration for lasting change.

I don’t believe in forcing your healing or rushing your process.

We work at the pace your nervous system can hold—slow, intentional, grounded.

Together, we explore the protective patterns you developed in childhood and how they show up in your adult relationships, decisions, and self-worth.

From there, we build something new:

secure self-attachment, embodied confidence, emotional clarity, and relationships rooted in safety and truth.
